Trained by Wendell Castle, the Father of the Art Furniture movement, Robert Wilson was awarded an AAS from the Wendell Castle School (now part of RIT) in Rochester, NY. From there, Robert continued his design education at the Rhode Island School of Design where he graduated with a BFA from the Industrial Design program.
After a decade of working on high profile projects for John Deere with the venerable industrial design firm Henry Dreyfuss Associates, Robert was drawn back to designing and crafting high end hand-made furniture and built- in cabinetry.
